Damien Hurst’s Science Production Studio gets the Trimo Touch
Unusual, aesthetic yet functional, is the probably best way of describing the 9000m2 Science Production Studio and Gallery in Stroud for modern and often controversial artist Damien Hirst. The project makes use of the existing steel structure of a plastics manufacturer, but with a combination of Trimo’s SNV 1000, FTV Gladio and Corus HPS200 coating it stands out on the landscape. As well as its architectural qualities, the building is also a good example of where Trimo’s products used as a rainscreen and where its product’s fire protection properties were a necessity.
